Cerberus Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and All Bark (“we”, “us”), the maker of Cerberus. By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Cerberus.
If you got Cerberus from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two differ, these terms govern your relationship with us, and Apple’s govern your relationship with Apple.
Free for players
Building heroes, the table sheet, dice, and playing at a table, in the same room or online, are free and need no account. Online tables are hosted by a DM with the subscription below.
DM accounts
- You must be at least 13 to make a DM account.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You’re responsible for the tables you host.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. What that removes is in our Privacy Policy.
The online tables subscription
Hosting a table online takes a subscription, billed through your App Store or Google Play account. The price, billing period and free-trial length are shown in the app before you confirm.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it begins.
- Free trials. If a trial is offered and you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription and you’re charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Cancelling. In Cerberus, open Settings → Account → Manage subscription, or your device’s subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep online tables until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. The store handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google Play. We can’t issue them ourselves.
- Price changes. If the price changes, the store tells you in advance and, where required, asks you to agree before you’re charged the new price.
Game content and homebrew
Cerberus includes rules content from the System Reference Document 5.2, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license; the full attribution is in the app’s About screen. Cerberus is an independent app, compatible with fifth edition, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the publisher of that edition.
Homebrew packs you add are yours and stay on your device. Only add content you have the right to use; you’re responsible for it.
Fair use
Please don’t:
- try to join tables you weren’t invited to, guess table codes, or reach other people’s accounts or data;
- reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the relay or our servers;
- use hero names or anything else your table shares to harass people or share unlawful content;
- resell or share access to your subscription.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account without cause, we’ll tell you.
Changes to Cerberus and to these terms
Cerberus will change over time; features may be added, changed or removed. If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Using Cerberus after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Cerberus is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, including the online relay, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Cerberus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can’t be waived.
